DESCRIPTION

The art of hand block printing is well known in Rajasthan. Each district uses a particular printing style, such as direct, discharge, resist, block, inkjet, tie and die on, splash, Batik, and kalamkari, among others. Rajasthan is known for its hand-block, resist, and kalamkari printing techniques. A fraction of the population uses locally available textile. Block printing is a form of art that may be used to distinguish each piece of clothing and design from others.

The pouch has been hand block printed in India by skilled artisans. The method includes using carved wooden blocks dipped in dye to recreate unique and beautiful motifs. The pouch is made in cotton with a zipper and attached leather strap. It has silk & cotton lining. This is ideal to be used for storing travel essentials, jewellery, make up items, medicines etc. It can also be used as a coin pouch.
